Welcome to the Foundational Supports Ideas Wall

Governments are working together to design and deliver additional supports for people with disability in the community. These are known as Foundational Supports. They are specific supports that are additional to mainstream services and supports accessed through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). There are different types of Foundational Supports. At the beginning, we will focus on just some of these supports, called General Supports.

This Ideas Wall is to gather your feedback and ideas about General Supports. Your ideas will help all governments to settle on the design of these supports.

There are 3 main discussion areas.

  1. Information and advice
  2. Individual and family capacity building
  3. Community capacity building

More information about General Supports is in the General Supports consultation paper. There is also an Easy Read version available.
